It seems almost odd that bodyworkers would concern themselves with research. Just hearing the word “research” can conjure up visions of scientific charts with dots and lines, filled with mathematical terms that only rocket scientists can understand! But, the reality is, bodyworkers do research just about every single day.
All research is, really, is finding a solution to a problem. Think about it; clients come to us with problems that are impacting their quality of life. It is up to us to find a solution to that problem. In order for us to do that, we need to research their problem so that we can find the best possible plan that will yield positive results. And, if you happen to develop something monumental, you just might want to share that development with others in the form of a publishable research paper.
This book explains what research is, how to distinguish between the different types of research, and how to write it. The book sets forth the subject of research in a non-threatening, easy-to-understand way. There are fabulous examples that illustrate the points presented, plus ways to get funding for your research.
This is a phenomenal book to have on the shelf; we never know when the opportunity to find new solutions will present itself. And when it does, we can be ready to write it and publish it without stress and strife.
