There has been quite a bit of research done on the benefits and contraindications of Reflexology over the years. There are different types of reflexology, some being more preferable for certain conditions than others.
This course discusses the research and what the results show about Foot and Hand Reflexology. There are many factors involved in doing reliable research, and some of these can actually alter the outcomes. The results of much of the research done are listed here, and may change how you use reflexology with your clients.
Barbara and Kevin Kunz have written a great deal about research in the alternative health and bodywork fields, so they have a solid grasp on how to do research and interpret the results. These results are available to us in a straight-forward, easily read format. They also include some of the ineffective outcomes of using Reflexology, which is helpful in determining courses of treatment.
If you now use, or have ever considered using Reflexology in your practice, this course is for you. If you enjoy doing research and using different research designs, you will be taken on a journey that will enhance your thirst for results and spark new ideas. It’s a fabulous course for every present and/or budding reflexologist!
